Demographic Research
For the following, research and analyse the materials you find:
The amount of colours used in these adverts is quite minimal, with darker ones, like brown, black or red taking up a lot of them for example. They are also often much more straight to the point than adverts for younger demographics are, using catchphrases much less often and simply explaining in a short sentence what is good about the product.

3 Prints adverts that advertise shoes to a younger demographic:
One of the biggest stand-outs from adverts for children is often the amount of colour used, specifically bright ones in order to be more eye catching to younger demographics. The art featured is also often quite silly, appealing to the minds of younger people and their interests, likely encouraging their parents to purchase the product simply due to them liking the mascots of the brand for example. Not much text and writing is included on the adverts either, likely due to very young demographics not being able to read, so it would be pointless.
3 Prints adverts that advertise clothing to a male demographic:
From the research I have done on male clothing during this course, I found quite a few print adverts that used humour of some form to advertise to males moreso than some other demographics, such as in the middle example shown above. When it comes to colours and fonts though, similarly to the older demographic advertising (or sometimes even more) these can be quite bland and straight to the point, with lots of greys and simple, easily readable wording explaining why the product may be for them.
3 Prints adverts that advertise clothing to a female demographic:
Compared to the ,male adverts of this type, much more colour is used, with the models within the photos often looking a lot more cheery and happy while modelling the products being advertised. Lots more text is also spread around the advert, describing the clothing in more detail.
